Day 2 at Craggan!

We’ve come to the end of Day 2 at Craggan and what a busy time we’ve been having here. Between all the groups, we have been raftbuilding, gorge walking, kayaking and rock cl

imbing as well as honing our archery and climbing skills on the high ropes. Yesterday we enjoyed Highland Games altogether and this evening we had fun with disc golf. We all have many exciting stories to share when we arrive back home at the end of the week.

Meanwhile, here are some pictures which tell just some of the story which is Craggan 2016.

Day 5 Cairngorm and goodbye Craggan

It is safe to say that we were all a little sad to be leaving Craggan after such an amazing week away. However, the thought of a weekend’s rest did make everyone feel better.

Cairngorm were in the ‘gorgeous’ gorge to finish off their week. Though physically challenging with the chilly water, the gorge has been the highlight for many this week. I was so pleased again when the instructor said what great kids the children were. MOL will certainly be welcomed back for another week’s adventure at Craggan. Well done Team MOL!

Final Day @ Craggan (Team Nevis)

To conclude our time at Craggan, Team Nevis revisited their archery skills from Alvie and wowed our instructor Gavin with our technique (well apart from Miss McRitchie who was pretty hopeless!!) We hopefully all arrived back having had a fantastic experience and telling lots of tales of our favourite activities!
I hope you all have a lovely relaxing weekend and remember to not come to school on Monday! See you all on Tuesday morning!

Team Cairngorm Days 3 and 4

A great team giving it their all these past few days…on Wednesday we had kayaking first thing followed by rock climbing in the afternoon. Thursday was bushcraft followed by mountain biking in the afternoon – and the weather stayed dry for our dry activities!

All the groups have done MoL proud. We’ve had comments from instructors here on the children’s great listening and teamwork. We are very proud of them and think they have given the week their very best shot. Well done P7!
